When you first come to the HRS, you will meet with one of our Recovery Practitioners who will explore what is going on for you and what support we can offer you. Your first appointment will last up to an hour and you will then be invited to an induction session and you will start to build your Recovery Care Plan. At the start of treatment, the majority of support is delivered from our Treatment Hub on Mare Street where we deliver structured groups, one to one sessions and clinical interventions to support you in your recovery journey.
As you progress in your recovery, you will be introduced to our Reintegration Hub on Westgate Street. Changing your life involves new options and opportunities and trying something different. Our Work & Learning Team can support with Education, Training & Employment ideas and programmes, our Parenting Programmes support those affected by substance misuse that also have parenting responsibilities, and our Service User Involvement Lead ensures we are hearing our service users’ voices and that we are delivering a service that is what people want.
